I wish I would be reviewing the operational capacity and commenting on user friendliness of this promising item; but alas it has not been delivered. An update and communication from the Seller will always be appreciated by the Customer. I hope Customer Service and HELP will be more accessible should the need arise.

I thought I would use this a lot, but I don’t. I’m usually on the computer with other people close by, so my talking would disturb them. Even when I’m not bothering others, I find it is often still easier to type.

wow I have only had this product for a day and a half. And I am very very impressed with it. The installation of the product(dragon) only took about 10 minutes to install. The voice recognition took about another 10 to fully understand my voice patterns. Actually it started understanding my voice within the first 1 to 2 seconds. I already sent out a ton of e-mails to friends and family. Telling them about this product. All of them are super impressed that for the most part I never even have to touch the keyboard. Most of them have seen my previous e-mails and no that I’m not the greatest typer in the world and misspell words quite a bit. They are impressed of how accurate this software is. For a person like me with a reading disability. This product I would have to say is the best product on the market for people with disabilities. I have dictated this entire review and Dragon has tight every word of it with few mistakes. Occasionally I will have to hit the backspace button and most of the time it is my dictation error that I have to correct. I would recommend this product to anyone that might not have the dexterity to type for long periods of time. Or people with reading disabilities that might not be able to spell very well like myself. This product is awesome. Oh yeah I also read a review before I bought this product that said the man or woman who installed the product on their PC said it had a rocky installation on Vista. I did not run into any problems that they indicated. This product is a dream come true for me.

Now, here’s a switch ….I am reviewing all the tutorials and reviews available on this product, and today, Amazon.com is offering this software for $29.99 with free S & H. (That’s 70% less than retail. Another retailer was selling it for $49.99 in the past two weeks.)
How good could a deal get, even if it is a standard edition, and I am a lifelong learner, at heart. Several of the reviewers give their advice for using this, and I am excited to attempt to work with software dedicated to speech recognition. As you read over the reviews by other users, you will note that one reviewer in particular, Jon Hurtado,while not employed by Nuance, the producer, teaches the use of this program. This individual has some excellent advice for zeroing in on what needs to be done, without adding any bells and whistles that the software producer interjects in the personal tutorial.
Looking forward, there may be a time when physically, keyboarding becomes a strain, or when I just want to sit back, speak, and let the software script for me. Now, I wish I had access to this when I began journaling on my PC, or when I was documenting anecdotal records at work. What a bonus this would be in the hands of any professional who wants to keep his or her own notes on the interaction with another individual in a business type situation.
Amazon.com is really going to like me for this review, especially when the sales increase. Say, I better go and place my order.

What a change from version 7.0. we recently updated and found 10 to be so much faster and accurate. It’s amazing, really. And using Vista wasn’t a problem.
