The kids at my nephew’s birthday party loved it. We had a big band going on…so I went home. It was the perfect gift.

The 2 items my 2 yo plays with is the harmonica which seems high quality and the wooden fish. I suppose we could have purchased these items separately which may cost less. Quality is fine. For the money, I suppose it’s a decent value to expose the kid to various instruments.

I bought this set for my 18 month old daughter. She has really enjoyed it. She can play the gazoo and loves shaking the tamberine. I am very happy with the quality as well.

Very nice assortment and quality of instruments for children. Purchased for girls, 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 y.o., and they got right into hitting the tambourine and shaking the eggs. The kazoo and harmonica were more appropriate for the older child. This band in a bucket makes a lovely gift.

We have owned a First Act Discovery Band in a Bucket for years!

I have three children who are currently 6, 8, and 16 years old. This set of instruments have been the base of our music box that we have added to over the years, but they are still our favorite instruments. My younger two love the egg shakers, as they are such a gentle sound. The rhythm fish is always a big hit. The tambourine is the next most requested instrument.

We have found plenty of occasions to bring out this set of instruments. From marching band performances, to original musical compositions that need accompaniment, to making noise for the New Year holidays.

After five years of constant use, they are finally starting to show signs of age. The beloved egg shakers’ glue finally dried out and we lost the little metal balls that were inside of them. Now it has become an ongoing project to test other small things in them to find the right sound!

I highly recommend the First Act musical toys for years of entertainment!
